Christy and I played hooky today. It rained, but that didn’t dampen our spirits! (haha)
Pistachio Cherry muffin at The Bourgeois Pig. They were playing the perfect mix of New Wave music this morning. I did quite a bit of chair dancing once I had caffeine. These little guys looked like stuffed animals, just hanging out on the shop counter. We caught an afternoon matinee of “Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret.” Funny, sweet, lovely adaptation of the classic coming of age story of my generation. Darcy and Echo, in a rare moment of relative quiet. The neighborhood turkeys!
