Absolutely beautiful morning at Mammoth. Fun runs, great company, and then… the wheels came off…

First off, I’m ok.

I was enjoying nice soft snow along the side of the trail. I picked up some speed. Then it wasn’t so soft. Then I was in the air, and then I was on the ground on my belly. I landed HARD, and it really took the wind out of my sails.

I took a minute to regroup, and then we continued down to the backside. Where I proceeded to 1. discover that I had a hole in my jacket pocket, and 2. drop my glove from the chair, and then 3. throw a small tantrum.

But all’s well that ends well, and in the end Todd and Elaine retrieved my glove, I ate lunch, and we made it back to the cabin for a shower and a nap.
